One thing we all love here at De Hart more than plumbing, HVAC, and fantastic beards is food. This is the season of barbecues and if you’re not a barbecue master, you should at least have some crowd-pleasing side dishes up your sleeve! One of our favorite side dishes for our company is deviled eggs. But not just any deviled eggs, deviled eggs with bacon and cheddar. *drool*
**Cheddar Bacon Deviled Eggs**
6 large eggs, boiled and peeled
3 tablespoons mayonnaise
1 teaspoon yellow mustard
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1/2 cup grated cheddar cheese
4 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
-Slice the hard-boiled eggs in half and place yolks in a small mixing bowl. Set aside whites.
-Add the mayonnaise, mustard, salt, and pepper to the mixing bowl with the yolks and stir well to combine.
-Stir in the grated cheddar and crumbled bacon.
-Spoon the filling into each of the egg whites.
-Sprinkle with bacon crumbles as desired.
